More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I told care of my youngest (8) sister when a baby, hence making her bottles, diaper changes, bringing her to bed when she falls asleep and tending to her when awake. I also would be support in some homework when she reaches elementary as well. My other sister (14), ever since I got my license, I would pick her up from school after my school ended and we would have fun by going somewhere to eat or even talking.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Even though I have not had any paid experience, but have had experience with my grandmother, I feel that the most important part of being a nanny is the relationships you build with not just the kids but the parents as also. As you work, you get to learn about each other and you are comfortable with one another, building memorable experiences as well as still doing your job.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My grandmother was a babysitter and I would sometimes come down to help her out with the children, a younger child who's family I’m quite familiar with tended to avoid me or lay in my lap when getting fed. It was a 50 50. As he grew up, he became old enough to attend the kids program at my church, and now every time he see me he always yells “Marie!” And runs into my arms and I think thats the sweetest thing. As well as the other children in the program with ages ranging from 3-10+, seeing them wanting high fives from me or wanting to just come and say hi to me before i attend the teen program is something I strive for every Wednesday and Sunday whenever I go.
