"I worked with Maria Tucker as a peer and also as my son’s teacher. She started working with my son when he was in 4th grade. My son is on the autism spectrum and has significant behaviors. Maria worked with him on academics and behavior. He again had her as a teacher in middle school for a year. She worked hard to help him learn coping techniques so that he could control his behavior and go to a less restrictive setting.
