Hi,

My name is Mariah Jones and I’m 24 years old. I enjoy reading & writing, nature, arts & crafts, theatre and quality time with family. I previously attended Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!) as an engineering major. I plan to continue my degree at a university here in Houston next year. I have over 6 years of experience, and am CPR/FirstAid certified. I’ve worked past jobs as lead teacher, teacher aid and youth development specialist. I’ve also volunteered a great deal of my time to children museums and babysitting. I love children, working with them is one of my many passions! My fun, creative and energetic attitude has allowed me to connect with the youth, and be a great influence.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is safety. Knowing the proper protocols, procedures and authorities to turn to in any severe situation is my first priority. Followed by positive interactions with the children and family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment happened while living in Michigan and babysitting for a family. I was able to teach Jayden (2 years old) the letters in her name. She later was able to spell her name.
