Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes volunteering throughout the school year in both a special education and elementary classroom during high school, where I supported students and helped create a positive learning environment. I also completed lifeguard certification classes, where I taught young students how to swim and practice water safety, building patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills.

I love doing fun, creative activities with kids like arts and crafts, outdoor play, swimming, and interactive games that keep them engaged and active. I enjoy reading together, helping with homework, and coming up with imaginative play that lets kids express themselves and build confidence. I’m big on creating a positive, upbeat environment where kids feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. I also enjoy simple things like going on walks, playing music, or just being silly and making them laugh because I think the best connections come from having fun together!

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure children are always safe, well cared for, and genuinely happy. I believe in creating a positive, nurturing environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and able to be themselves while still having structure and guidance. It’s also really important to build trust with both the children and their parents, keeping open communication so parents feel supported, reassured, and confident that their kids are in good hands at all times.

I volunteered for a full year in a 1st–3rd grade special education classroom, where I worked one-on-one with students to support their individual needs. This experience helped me build patience, understanding, and adaptability while creating a supportive and positive environment for each child to succeed.
