More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Hi! I’m Mariah, and I absolutely love working with kids. I currently babysit a two-year-old and also do date-night babysitting for a family with two children. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can play, learn, and feel cared for.
I have transportation and am reliable, responsible, and energetic. While I am not CPR certified and do not have a driver’s license, I have experience keeping children safe and happy, and I’m always attentive to their needs. I would love the opportunity to care for your children and be someone you can trust.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me as a nanny is creating a safe, loving space for children to just be themselves. I want to be someone they can trust, especially because I know how important it is to have a safe adult in your life. I enjoy encouraging kids to explore, feed themselves, and learn to love themselves and the world around them. My goal is to help children feel supported, confident, and full of joy while growing and learning every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have formal experience with special needs, but I am attentive, patient, and adaptable. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child, and I am always willing to follow parents’ guidance and routines to meet each child’s individual needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was taking a two-year-old I babysit to the park for the first time and putting him on the swing. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on his face as he swung back and forth was such a rewarding experience. Moments like that remind me how much I love working with children and being a part of their fun and learning.

I have a very hands on approach and love to do activities like arts & crafts, short nature hikes, swimming, library trips, and more. Movie/TV, video games have their place but I feel they shouldn’t always be a child’s first go-to. In my spare time, I volunteer for a cat rescue & lounge as well as fostering kitties. I have a background in dog training/pet sitting so pets are always an extra bonus if you have them! I work full time M-F until 3:30 so I’m looking for evening and weekend positions.
