Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some things I love doing with children include but aren't limited to: going to parks , playing with sidewalk chalk, playing with water balloons/toys, making arts and crafts, building forts, making fun treats, playing hide and seek, playing tag, playing board games, playing with legos, coloring, go for walks (if allowed), do mini science experiments, and more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a support for the kid(s) I believe is the most important part about being a nanny. By doing so, you encourage them to be the best version of themselves. I believe that by supporting the kid(s), you also in turn, support the parent(s)/caretaker.
My experience with special needs children...
While I don't have a ton of experience with kids with special needs, I have taken care of children on the spectrum for a few months. However, I am more than willing to learn more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was playing with action figures with the child I was nannying (he was about 4 at the time), and listening to the fun and silly stories and scenarios he'd make up; I love seeing a child express their creativity, and I think it encourages me to do the same.
