I worked with Visually Impaired students at Ohio State School of the Blind for 11 years, Mid stream 2025 I changed positions and now I'm currently working with middle school agers with Down Syndrome physical and learning challenges, it's my live(s) assignment. I have extensive experience working with children and adults that's on the spectrum of autism. As a Second/third shift Youth leader, I know how important it is for young people to be able to have the role of independence and support if and when needed. In my many roles as caregiver, youth advocate, direct care, paraprofessional, one on one aide, assistant teacher, house parent cook, appointment clerk... It boils down to one main factor.... loving what you do for people with care.
