Most important part of working with children in general, either with children in therapy, in the family or with children in someone's home is when the child trusts me and begins to take on the understanding of empathy and learning what it means to be kind and share and to understand emotions and expression of emotions. Also, knowing that my position is playing a positive role in providing safety and important learning elements to children that seem to be lost in today's value system.
