More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up, I gained extensive experience caring for children with behavioral diagnoses from caring for and assisting with my own siblings, who have fetal alcohol syndrome and reactive attachment disorder. I spent 10+ years volunteering with kids age 0-18 through various church activities including feeding, changing, teaching, facilitating, and comforting.
In the winter of 2024 I spent five months working with families and children at the YMCA of the Rockies in their family programs department. This spring and summer I will spend another three months in that same department, and two and a half working as a behavioral counselor for their day camp program.
In 2023 I had the honor or traveling to Florida to be involved with Camp Attach under Teresa Guerard.
I love children and am passionate about telling them the truth, giving them my full attention, and providing loving, secure environments for them to grow and learn in.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I personally love going outside! Taking children on walks, hikes, swimming, climbing, etc. would be a joy! I’m not afraid of a little dirt, and want children to have the opportunity to get fresh air and play like kids.
I also love arts and crafts, teaching children about animals, outdoor things, people, and more, dancing, and playing games.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I would like to nanny because I care about our future generation and how they are raised. I want to be able to show love and care to children and help them grow, attach, and develop into the best adults they can be!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for numerous children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Reactive Attachment Disorder for extended periods of time. I’ve also worked with children with autism, dyslexia, feeding tubes, and more. I also have experience guiding blind adults.
