A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Marina Watson, and I’m 19 years old and going into my sophomore year at the University of South Carolina. I’ve always loved working with kids and have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for children of all ages and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them.

Since 2021, I’ve been a swim coach, where I’ve had the opportunity to teach children not only how to swim but also how to build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, and become supportive teammates. In addition to coaching, I give private swim lessons, allowing me to work one-on-one with children and tailor my teaching to each child’s individual needs and learning style.

I’m responsible, patient, energetic, and love finding creative ways to keep kids engaged. My goal is always to make children feel comfortable, encouraged, and cared for!
