I have always been the “neighborhood babysitter” growing up! Before my current nannying position I worked part time at the YMCA in Colorado Springs at the learn and play where we worked with kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years! At the time I was also going to school to get my associates in early childhood education, which during that time I got offered my current nanny position and have been with this family since.

I love the outdoors therefore walks, nature centers, drawing, crafts, mobility practice, sensory play, and parks I all love doing!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part is not only having a bond with the children, but as well as the parents. This past family I’ve been with have been amazing at remembering we’re all human and life can be hard sometimes which has been a great factor in our relationship. Such as them needing a date night I’m happy to come over and stay the night with the kids or a day during the week I need to go to an appointment they’ve been very understanding with that. Therefore that is definitely something I’d like to continue with the next family!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was working with the children I currently am with on sign language specifically for the baby to communicate more and he did it successfully and he was so proud of himself as I was of him! It was a great moment for me knowing what I was doing was paying off and he’ll be able to communicate his needs with his parents and I better!:)
