A little bit about me

I have been caring for kids since around 2007 and have a diverse background of experience. I have worked in elementary schools as a literacy / reading tutor, worked with middle school aged kids as a camp counselor, and have babysat + nannied for families with twins, newborns, children with special needs, and for very active families. Over the years, I have grown with families as siblings and pets are added to the family. I love working with kids of all ages! I have an educational background in psychology and art where I became passionate about childhood development and the importance of integrating education and creativity into daily environments. In 2017 I became a certified doula! I love working with families - kiddos AND parents. Supporting the family dynamic as a whole is important to me. I prefer working with families long term. Outside of nanny life, I love doing yoga, being outside, going camping, canoeing, and biking, and love animals!
