Fun grandmother vibe with over 25 years of preschool/child care experience. Degree in Early Childhood Education. Love to interact with children on their level and encourage children to use their minds and imagination instead of being glued to a screen. Have worked in the past as both live-in and full time nanny. Important to work with the parents to provide consistent expectations for the children. Believe that children need boundaries as well as guidance to help them navigate their emotions and be accountable for their actions. Not a fan of the "gentle parenting" trend because have not seen positive results in teaching children how to grow, learn and be productive. Education and discipline needs to start early to get children on the right path. I have worked with all ages from infant to teen as well as with children with special needs. I love working with and caring for children because they allow me to learn new things every day and see the possibilities in everything!
