"Mary is an absolute gem. We are heartbroken that her time with us is ending - it is ONLY because our children are full time in school now. Mary began with us 7 years ago and is incredibly dependable and reliable. She is wonderful with children; mine adore her. She interacts with them well, she is creative, she helped them with school and helped them learn numbers, letters, and basics before starting preschool. She is firm with rules but not harsh. She teaches/reinforces manners, kindness, and being a helper. She handled additional responsibilities too: kids laundry, grocery shopping, tidying/generally straightening, starting dinner, etc. She took the children to and from lessons/practices, parks and playgrounds, the public library, and other community activities. We trust her completely. Our children are in wonderfully loving and capable hands with her. I often say we have “a real life Mary Poppins in Mary”. The next family/children for whom she works will be blessed to have her."
