A little bit about me

Hello I'm Mary, I been married for 28 years and we share one daughter whom is 22 years old. We have two female dogs and owned our very own daycare center for 28 years and recently closed it down due to the pandemic. After doing so I decided to go into education and do some teaching. I been now teaching fifth grade math to my students at Cougar academy. And i love it. I want to do nanny care because I love caring for children and being the one to help raise them to become young positive adults. My passion for nurturing been in me since I was 8 caring for my first niece. I helped my sisters raised their children and done some foster care and had my hands in many families with the help of raising children. So I'm driving instead of every year being laid off for the summer because school is out. Why not do something I love to do. It's just like daycare but now I'm in their home instead of them coming into mine. God is sending me this way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is helping the beautiful babies become young positive adults. Being there for the parents , you are their eyes and ears. Just being the next person the children can count on when the parents aren't around. Trusting the family and them trusting in you to be here for their children to protect and love them as your own. And the best part of it all is seeing them become grown adults and bringing their children to you for you to care for as you done for them when they were younger. Staying in the family because I'm family. I grow with them. And go with them . Life time of memories and precious moments.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children come from owning my own daycare. I cared for children that were death , mute, feeding tube stomach issues meaning colostomy bag etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing my babies take their first step and being able to see that first tooth come in. Helping them create their first words. Teaching them to read and write etc.
