The most important part about being a nanny...
I learned being a great nanny comes with genuinely loving the children. We spend a majority of their day with little adult interaction and enjoy spending their time with children, and has a understanding of child development. We are responsible for providing the children with appropriate experiences, trust, advocate for the children in my care.
Being a great nanny is having lots of energy. We are responsible for actively engaging the children and must have the energy, and a nanny has a reserve of patience. We spend countless hours with children and must be able to handle moods and behaviors without losing their temper and is safety conscious. Different ages are learning and seeing new things Nannies are solely responsible for the children when they are on duty and consider the children’s safety first and foremost but is a good communicator. Talking to kids so they understand and staying calm. I have to effectively relay and receive information from parents and children.

I am a recent graduate from Sacred Heart University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music and Musical Theatre. I've been trained in first aid, CPR, and babysitting. I have three years of consistent babysitting experience, three years of summer camp experience, and two years of experience volunteering in special education elementary classrooms. I would be glad to help around the house with some housekeeping, and laundry. I also drive (with a clean record!), am comfortable with pets and can help with any schoolwork as well!
