I worked for a Christian day care for four years. I love this job because it gave me the opportunity to work with all ages and really taught me to learn how to work with all types of kids. It was a complete blessing! I also worked for a family for almost a year. I loved these two children with all my heart but unfortunately due to covid the mom had to let me go.

I love drawing and painting! I am always ready to go on a walk around the neighborhood or go to parks!

What matters to me about being a nanny is fully engaging with the children! I always want to make sure the kids are having fun no matter what. I love building a relationship with the children so they feel like they can trust me and communicate with me about any issues if the children are old enough to speak!

My favorite nanny moment was when one of the kids I nannied asked me “Mauria will you be our nanny forever because I don’t want someone else” and it was heart breaking having to let him know that I wouldn’t be able to be their nanny forever but that God has a plan for everything and he will give him another great nanny one day!
