Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outside activities such as playing on the playground or playing with toys like balls and hoolahoops seem to be the kids favorites. Also blowing bubbles or playing with chalk is way of keeping the kids entertained while having outside time. Inside activities are my favorite because it's more of a time to stay educated and also have some fun such as board games, building blocks, watching movies an tv shows some arts and crafts and just enjoying being able to be in a wonderful setting with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What’s matters most to me about being a nanny is getting a chance to help a family that’s in need of support. The phrase it takes a village is very true and I love being able to be of support and assistance to children because I love children very much and care about their wellbeing. I make it a priority to be the best role model I can be for kids and to always be someone they can count on and rely on especially for the parents state of mind knowing they are in safe good hands with a reliable and responsible adult.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had only a few months of experience with special needs children and it wasn't my strong suit but I have learned now just from working in the school district for over 5 years that it takes a lot of patience and it takes a lot of getting to have a better understanding and bond with the child. Children are unpredictable and it's best to always be ready and prepared for anything.
