A little bit about me

My name is Maya. I’m 20 years old and I graduated in 2023 from Bettendorf schools. I finished my associates in science at Scott Community in December of 2024. I have been working at Senior Star for 5 years this month. I spent the first couple years as a dietary aide/server in their independent living, then I got my CNA my senior year and transferred to the assisted living building. I have also become certified to administer medications. I have really enjoyed building relationships with my residents and assisting them with activities of daily living. I don’t exactly have nannying experience but I have done many paid occasional babysitting jobs for family friends since a young age. A few of my certifications are CNA, CPR, First Aid and AED, HIPAA, Iowa Mandatory Reporter, Dependent Adult Abuse.
