"I hired Maya many times I the past year and I can say with 100% confidence that it was one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to childcare. I'm a single mom with two boys, a 5 year old and an 8 year old. Anyone with sons or brothers knows how hard it can be to have the get along with each other sometimes. Maya pulled them together like glue with no visible effort. She came in for the first time with dinosaur coloring books and a great attitude and since then my boys have been asking at least twice a month when Maya can come over to play Legos. She's great for me as a parent and she's great for the kids. She truly loves her job and is passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for the kids. "Maya is truly amazing with kids. My daughter has reached her terrible two's and my wife and I couldn't seem to get her on board with a routine or any of the rules we had for her, but Maya swooped in and saved us like a superhero. My wife and I call her the kid whisperer, I was so grateful for all the help she was with the behavioral issues but also for the smile she put on my little girl's face. I would recommend Maya to anyone who's looking for a great nanny or babysitter."

During my last year as a Sunday school teacher, one of my kids wrote me a thank you card during arts and crafts time. It was a specifically hard day because it was the last week of camp and the kids were starting to go into their "back home" routines, so a lot of the time they weren't really paying attention or following directions. This specific child noticed whenever the class was being a little more rowdy than usual and often tried to help but it wasn't much use, as you could expect. At the end of the day he came up to me with a coloring sheet that he had written a note on the back of that said, "Coach Maya, thank you for teaching us this week and last week. You are a super star!" with a cute little drawing of a star that said "Coach Maya is a superstar. I framed the letter and put it on my wall to remind me that even though the job can get hard, you will eventually get through to some kids and make a difference for them.
