Hi! My name is Maya. I am currently a student in Las Vegas, attending UNLV. I have lived all over the world in places including Egypt, and Dubai. Currently I am in school to get a Management degree with a minor in Sports Journalism and Business. I am great and English and reading. And a tad bit worse in math, but still got the skill!
I am incredible spunky and love kids! Although I don’t plan to have a line of work , working with them, I have always had a strong love. My sister is autistic which has made me keen in skill with children. During my sophomore year of high school, I worked at Wet n Wild waterpark. Where I was AED certified, and CPR certified.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important about being a nanny is knowing your role. As a nanny, you are not the child’s parent. But merely just part of a family’s village. Therefore, just as I am respecting the parent’s wishes, I must respect the kids as well. And refrain from pushing boundaries, because as stated I am not the parent.

My experience with special needs children...

My little sister is autistic. And I myself have learning disabilities. Through therapy I have learned my own ways to cope with my disability’s. As well as to be keen with my sisters as well. Such as sensory issues, food, etc.
