I love the outdoors, so I would love to take your kids to the zoo, the park, or even something as simple as hanging out in the backyard or going for a walk! I also really like crafts, and would love to bring crafty things to do with your littles!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is developing connections with the kids to develop a positive relationship that promotes positive actions! Kindness is my number one policy, and it warms my heart to see how my influence can impact theirs, and see my actions reflected in theirs! :)
My experience with special needs children...
I have two adopted younger sisters, and while they are not special needs they have behavioral and mental health issues, so I'm used to adversity in that sense. I've developed good coping skills, as well as the ability to quickly interpret a situation in order to come up with a solution whether it's short or long term, that would be the most beneficial for them, and everyone else involved.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Once I was with a family I was a regular babysitter for, and the kids and I were doing chalk in the driveway. One of the kids wrote "We <3 Maya", and it was a really memorable moment for me because I got to see the positive impact and connection I was making with those kids and I cherish that!
