A little bit about me

I am a junior at MSU and in Pi Beta Phi! I am studying art education and I have been surrounded by kids my whole life. I grew up with younger brothers and started babysitting the neighborhood kids when I was about 11 years old. For the past 6 summers I have worked at different day camps and have worked my way up from an assistant counselor to our camp technician who oversees all of the day camps throughout the department. I have younger cousins ranging from the age of 2 to 10 that I have got to watch for periods of time. I also have grown up with a brother with Down Syndrome so I have spent a lot of time in the community of people with special needs. I have always loved working with children and I love to thing I am still a child at heart so I love to play and get on their level instead of simply watching them.
