I've volunteered in church camps since the age of 16, and have been babysitting since that age too.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking the kids to the library, the park and museums (of course with the parents permission). While staying at home, I also like playing with the kids whether that is doing arts and crafts, or playing hide & seek, really anything the kids are up for or feeling :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments with kids/babies is when they wake up from their nap and want to be snuggly. I think that is so sweet and cute, and it's a sweet moment for me and them to bond! I also love when I teach them something, and they start using it in their everyday life. For example, I speak spanish and most of my nanny kids only speak English. So when I teach them how and when to say "Buenos Dias" or "Gracias" and they randomly use it, I feel so proud of them and get excited!
