What matters most to me about being a nanny is showing children the most love, patience, and respect possible. I will dedicate time to deescalate tough situations, talk kids through their thoughts/feelings, and give helpful advice on how to deal with problems in the future. I strive to create a healthy, safe, and positive environment for the betterment of the child’s emotional, mental, and physical needs. In doing this, I believe a strong bond can be formed through mutual respect of one another.

A memorable nanny moment I had happened not long ago at Chick-Fil-A. The man taking our order was astonished by the kids manners that I watched. He had a huge smile on his face and kept saying how refreshing it was! I was so excited for them because they could see first hand how it made someone feel to be talked to respectfully and they were so proud of themselves. Manners was something I had been really working with them on, and it felt great to be validated that I was doing a good job.
