A little bit about me

I have been working with children for about 10 years. I received my early childhood Montessori certificate from Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in Evanston and worked as an early childhood Montessori teacher for 4 years. I grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Benedictine University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My passion for teaching began as I babysat through college, and worked as a full time nanny in Chicago after graduating. I worked with multiple families whose children attended Montessori schools.

The independence, teamwork, and creativity the children presented are just a few reasons I fell in love with the Montessori Method. I believe in the importance of creating a trusting bond with children to help them confidently learn in all areas of development, and have fun while learning.

I have been living in Chicago for eight years and an experienced city driver. I am a lover of all animals and willing to help with light housework.
