I have been working in the childcare and education field for over a decade. I started at an in-home childcare with 12 students for 3 years, while I went to school to acquire my ECE units before the childcare was closed (owner's personal reasons) and I began working in a professional preschool/childcare setting with over 40 students. I also have special needs elementary school aged experience, working in both EGUSD and SCUSD.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to create with the children I am charged with. I make up my own art projects, lesson plans, love to do nature walks, teach about our earth, grow and care for plants, anything that reminds the child of the earth around them.

It's difficult to pinpoint just one moment over the last 12 years, but there is a common theme amongst all the children I nannied/babysat, and that is my nickname "Mae-Mae" (2 years olds find it difficult to say Megan) and the instant bond I tend to create with the children I care for.
