A little bit about me

I began baby-sitting at the age of 12 and continued throughout high school and college, while also counseling at a day camp during summers. I have been a nanny and tutor for the last 12 yrs, 7 1/2 of which I spent with two wonderful children from infancy until they were 7 and 2. I have spent the last 2 1/2 years in a nanny share situation caring for 4 energetic boys aged 8, 7, 4 and 1. I have experience with children of all age groups as well as those with special needs (ASD and ADHD in particular). I majored in Sociology and Anthropology and have a background in Psychology, Language and Art and have been trained in CPR and First Aid. I seek above all else to maintain children's health and safety and to establish deep relationships with my charges as I feel that a sense of trust and reliability is key to their ability to flourish.
