It happened naturally as I was the oldest child by eight years. I was the one to care for my three siblings when my parents would leave the house. I've cared for newborn babies all the way to 15-16 year olds; at that age they pretty much take care of themselves. I've been a nanny/house manager for several years. Throughout this time there has also been all the children around the neighborhoods we lived in that seem to flock to our home. I have first aid training and on the 25th of this month will have complete mental first aid training. I believe birth to 5 years is telling most impressionable time in a child's life and also when their personality is formed. They are sponges and absorb everything around them. For this reason I hate to see them left to vibrating chairs, t.v., or computers for entertainment when there is so much in the world they should be seeing and enjoying.
