The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny is communicating with the parents. Most times the parents know the kids more than the nanny. Always listen to what the parents say and suggest. and of course make the kid have a great day everyday! Be their best friend while also being responsible and helpful!
My experience with special needs children...
I was a peer tutor in high school and middle school. I babysat one boy for a few years that had a disability. I have volunteered at the development center to help with the special needs children and adults. I have an uncle with a disability and we are great buddies. They are such special souls and I have always been able to connect with them.
