I was a nanny for a sweet but shy 2 year old girl. She kept her guard up for a little while and would only ever give her mom and dad "big hugs". One day we were at the park and some other kids were making her a little nervous so she ran over to me and asked for "big hugs". I knew in that moment she was finally comfortable with me and trusted me which felt incredible.
