I have cared for autistic children as well as children with ADHD, PTSD, children who are non-speaking, and children with other high support needs. I have experience with severe allergies, wheelchair users, physical therapy, g-tube feedings, and administering medications.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This past Christmas, I crocheted capes for my nanny kids. The day I gave them to the kids, I took them out, and in the car they cuddled under their capes and kept yelling "I'm so cozy!" throughout the entire drive. I love that they enjoyed their gifts.
