The most important part about being a nanny...
I personally think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are comfortable around me, feel safe, and that they enjoy me being around! In addition to that I think it’s important to have a good relationship with the parents not just the children and that communication is clear and easy.
My experience with special needs children...
I spent 9 months in a Pre-K special education class and got to observe how teachers/paras handle certain situations and how to meet the needs of each child. I got to connect with the kids and build relationships with them which allowed me to understand the needs of children with autism specifically.
