A little bit about me

I am a divorcee with four children in their twenties (a daughter and 3 sons). All are out on their own either in college or working. I have a college degree in Elementary Education and was a professional educator for 12 years. I have also owned my own TX state registered home day school where I took care of children infants to school age while my daughter was between 8mo and 2yrs old. I’ve spent numerous years working in daycares, day schools, church nurseries, elementary schools, Mother Day Outs, and babysitting in people’s homes as either a lead teacher, assistant, volunteer or as a paid babysitter. My CPR and First Aid card expired in 08/2024. It was the third time I’ve been certified. I’m fairly new to Texarkana from the Dallas area. I currently work part time in Food Service looking to make a little extra income. I enjoy reading aloud to children, cooking, baking, singing, coloring, playing with play dough, and holding and rocking babies. In my spare time, I read, sew and cook.
