Hello! My name is Melisa Gates. I am the Director at a local preschool and I have also been a nanny for many years. Here is a list of some my other experience working with children of all ages. I have owned and run a KinderMusiic studio, been a paraeducator at several local schools, worked at Autism and Related Disorders, transported and monitored visits for children in the foster care program, worked at the hospital as a supervisor in the nutrition department, give private piano lessons and I am a Sunday School teacher at a local church.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being out in nature as much as possible. Going on nature walks, exploring parks in the area and finding little creeks to see if we can find pollywogs are all activities I enjoy doing with the children in my care. 🙂
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a friend to the children and being a support to the parents. Making special memories and having fun together with the children and families are also important to me as a nanny.
