A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Melisa. I have nannied, homeschooled and have experience working with special needs.
I have 3 kids awesome kids of my own, (Cole23, Lexie 21 and Jayme Lynne is 16.) All great in school and sports.
I have absolutely no problem with helping with chores and keeping the house clean, or even run errands for you. I hope they love to have fun and play outside and crafts, reading, coloring, or whatever they would like to do… I’m game. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, graduated with a 3.8. I worked as an Office Manager for almost 20 years, until the owner was ready to retire and sell his restaurants.
I absolutely love kids and having fun, making them laugh (greatest sound in the whole world is hearing kids laughing). I also would love to plan cool adventures, love a pool, beaches, any sports, movies, board games or just playing outside and having a picnic lunch.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have raised my 3 great children as well. I have nannied and homeschooled for a 7 year old.
All A’s. I have also nannied for 2 little girls and homeschooled them as well. Last but definitely not least… I nannied a 3 year old girl and a 6 year old boy with special needs. We played a lot but we also would do flash cards, puzzles, learning letters and numbers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside. Gotta love sprinklers,, pool, beach, going for ice cream, movies if the weather is bad. Reading, coloring, craft, learning alphabet and number.

The most important parts of being a nannie to me are…. Dependability, on time, don’t sweat the small stuff, love, and care and have fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied a 6 year old little that has Downs Syndrome. My plan is to take courses in Special Ed, as well as some child care classes. They are your kids, which I know mean the world to you….I would never let you or the kids down.
