I had collaborated with Child Care Resources Center and I had work as a Independent child care provider for 3 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing activities as creative arts such as playing with play-dough, painting, dancing, building using blocks. storytelling ,counting games, arts and craft activities. All of this activities foster learning in areas like motor skills, creativity, language and early math.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Beyond basic care, making sure all their needs are fulfilled. I don't see this as a job, I believe is My Purpose to make sure each child that is under my care feels loved, safe and understood . And for parents to go to their jobs knowing their children are safe and with a person who cares for their children as they were my own.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was on lunch time with my 4yr old boy and 2 of my 6yr old girls I was caring at the time. They where having lunch, a delicious homemade chicken soup full of colorful veggies. And the 4yr old refused to eat his carrots. I was encourage him to eat all the veggies by telling him about all the good nutrients the carrots had. But then he looked at my plate and notice that I didn't served my self any carrots. And he looked at me and said with is cute little voice,"And if carrots are so good for us why did you served your self any?". Funny things is that I personally don't like carrots. He on his little brain though ok "why is she telling me I need to eat the carrots and she did not eating any, knowing is good.
