A little bit about me

I'm a social worker and a therapist in private practice and I am looking for some little rascals to watch for a couple days a week in the short term as my caseload builds. I've worked as a preschool teacher and a nanny for several years in the past. I'm not currently *officially* up to date on CPR and first aid, but I have taken the course about 5 times over the years.

My approach with kids is very Reggio-Emilia inspired. I'm here to support and nurture their autonomy and teach them to feel empowered in their relationships with other people and themselves. I had the honor and privilege of having many kids at the preschool call me their favorite teacher over the years, and one singular moment of glory where a child fully accidentally called me Ms. Frizzle, a peak experience I don't think I'll ever surpass. :) I'm free right now on Thursday afternoons and all Friday, and have some flexibility earlier in the week as well.
