I was taking care of a young child who I was fostering. The hospital could not figure out why they wouldn’t take a bottle. I had done training as a doula and figured out it was the child needed practicing with the right paci. 25 pacifiers later the child latched, and was able to start bottle feeding the next day with a different bottle and nipple type.
