I have some experience with special needs. I did a short term position. It was a 8 year old, he was nonverbal. He would point to things or bring me something if he wanted it. I got him off of the school bus, gave him a snack then dinner and also did bed and bath time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when my little one I was taking care of counted to 10 & said his abcs. I’ve always done it with him but to hear him actually say them on his own without my help just made my day.
