Hi!I’m Mia, officially out of the homeschool house in September2023 right now in my community college I’m between trade school and cosmetology, so majoring in business until I decide which to pursue first and with a 5 year old brother I have felt I’ve done a great deal in raising! He’s most the time at school now, and otherwise i’m taking him around to karate or something he just likes to do if he’s not home sick, which isn’t often but kid germs are a different breed of tough to beat when it happens :(! I do have a lot of helpful gadgets kept thoroughly clean from when he was littler to prevent choking, prepared carekits, etc. I completely wouldn’t mind bringing around if approved! I’d like to highlight that it would be super awesome for my brother if he could have a possible buddy-up out of the time I’m sitting if the situation is right and everyone is comfortable of course!oh&love cooking!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most Prominent: Actively living with a little brother since his start in the Covid world since I was about 13, from the jump I had (and am still) having a lot to do with how he spent the time! he’s excellent, loves numbers and dinosaurs as of late and a little more of his own now but I was there teaching him the basics and keep up with what he’s into plus be there for anything. And was at a half amount split between me and our mom for the dirty work but that wasn’t so fun, still don’t mind it though and am happier if saving the trouble from someone else!

Things that may not count: Sometimes at family parties the baby would be brought for a nap in my bed &&& ?Experience in being a child in the last 5ish years? & Get along with cousins

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I‘m recently liking cooking&baking as my own activity, and I’m used to by now what my brother could be doing like pouring or stirring something to know the usual limits kids will have and how to keep them from hurting or anything! I do have my small hobbies I do like sewing & handknitting but I also like having legos or coloring to do too! I was stressed before hosting animals with children but i’ve actually got it to where my brother and my aunt’s skittish sort of personal belonging dog are pretty much best friends! It’s sort of unrelated though because i don’t mind keeping any animals as far away from kids as possible if instructed or any special case, (bears and wild animals and stuff already included in automatic No and won’t be looking for them I promise!) but I love all animals and picked up a few books about tons of creatures over the years! I don’t know how to ride a bike sadly but in my plans I’ll be doing that and some rollerblading and skateboard

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids deserve to have the most positive attention and feel as secure as possible, and if a nanny means that I’d like to make sure that’s possible. Another part is the same for those in need of a nanny, who can take the time for themself if necessary or “not.” Self care and rejuvenating doesn’t come too easy and is an alternate way when you’re raising a child which I think I understand as most of my life I was an only child to single parents. Everyone needs someone to trust that they can rely on no matter what!

My experience with special needs children...

To be upfront, I couldn’t really say I had enough experience for most cases. What I could say I may know a little more about special needs children as I was closer to being one than say like normal, which I did actually learn coping and learning in general out of the specific definitions that got me called out to as that. I’d be happy to answer any questions about it! Also would be happy to try and see how compatible I would be for the situation, just message me about it!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having a brother makes for so many things to happen and a lot of the time you just have to laugh at it, I have a lot of those, but I would like to make more under nanny and not under big sister. I’ll save this for when I get more time on the job *and with permission to share** ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
