Hi! My name is Mia Freeman and I would love to hangout with/ care for your kiddos! I am currently in the Behavioural psychology program at St. Lawrence college and have 4+ years of experience working with a variety of ages. Through babysitting, working in daycares, and nannying abroad, I have developed strong interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a lasting passion to connect with children of all ages. I am first aid and CPR certified and am willing to provide a CPIC. I am hoping for Monday to Friday hours while I am off of school for the summer but am open to occasional evenings or weekends. Worked in infant, toddler, preschool, and school-aged rooms over 2+ years at a daycare. Was an Au pair in Italy/England for a few months.

I enjoy playing outside, doing crafts, going for walks, singing songs, reading stories and other activities that enhance your child’s development.

My experience with special needs children...

My brother is non verbal with autism spectrum disorder, he is the inspiration behind my chosen career path. I also completed a placement in a high school, school to community program.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t have a specific favourite nannying moment but the overall experience, building connections and watching children learn, have fun, and enjoy the little things is something that just never gets old to me!
