Children are constantly learning. Becoming a nanny is a front row ticket to helping them become the adults they are striving to be. I love seeing little quirks that each and every kid has and I love her bf apart of their growth. Personally, I remember all of my babysitters and absolutely loved them.

My mother was a special needs teacher at an elementary school. I would come and watch how she would handle situations, along with hearing how she does things to help the child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the sweetest moments I have experienced was when I came to watch a little 3 year old girl. I had come a few times prior, and we hadn’t hit it off yet. Once her parents left me with her, she started to sob. Instead of trying to distract her, I sat her on the table and told her it is okay to feel your feelings. I gave her a hug, let her calm down, and asked if she needed a snack. After that, we hugged and we were best friends every time I came back!
