P.A.L is a summer camp where i used to volunteered and took care of the sweetest boy with down syndrome for almost 2 years! we were inseparable after that. i’ve done a lot of work at the hospital from time to time as well but only to volunteer.

is to have patience. every family is different as well as every kid is different. that’s why making sure you have patience as well as a big heart with the kids, because they all different in their own way
My experience with special needs children...
i have a BIG soft spot for my little ones who need the extra help. i’ve volunteered for may places with kids that have special needs. hospital, summer camps, schools.. the list can go on. i like to give them a chance make sure they don’t feel singled out at anytime. i was a babysitter as well for a family with 2 kids who had special needs for half a year before they moved.
The most important part about being a nanny...
(if allowed) making memories, taking silly pictures. i love to look back at pictures and show the little ones as they get older
