I have very few relatives of my own and am searching for a wonderful family to grow with on a long term basis as I have tended to do with my previous business and personal relationships. I am and have always been extremely flexible with my schedule allowing me to adhere to my employer's needs.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in the daycare at my college where most professors and faculty had their children enrolled. I am certified with ihss and have worked with an autistic child. I was also a nanny for twin boys from the time they were 8 months old until they were 5. I have always connected with children. I think that they can tell when someone is truly loving and nothing gives me more pleasure than working with children. I babysat all through highschool.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, singing, taking walks, doing crafts, teaching them English, and other basics. Playing dress up, swimming, going to the beach, park, playing with other children and animals. My very favorite is holding and living them with back rubs, softly brushing their hair, feeding them, and basically all daily activities. I love being with children doing anything at all because looking at life through the eyes of a child makes it a more beautiful and relaxed

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with an autistic child several years ago with ihss. I also worked with a young boy with a disease called hunters disease. He was diagnosed to due at around 13. He was very intuitive and we were extremely close

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked for a young boy who was autistic and had a real problem letting anyone hold him other than his Mother. After caring for him several months he started to cry when I had to put him down before leaving.
