More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher for over 28 years in the public school setting, servicing thousands & thousands of children, ages 5-18. The last 5 years have been spent with 2 nanny placements/families, working closely with kids aged 3 months thru 10 years old. I spent many years as a coach of various sports including Track, Cross Country, Swimming, Downhill Skiing and Soccer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love learning with kids through exploration of science, art, music, play, and basically anything outside!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel developing a collaborative relationship with the whole family unit so that we create a safe, caring, structured environment to raise kids to become confident, successful, contributing members of society. I want to provide relief for parents so that they are able to be successful in their own lives.

I have enjoyed working with all varieties of special needs in all ages of kids. I work diligently to evaluate children's' individual needs and devise strategies to meet those needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the greatest joys I receive from nannying, is the ability to establish tight bonds with children, even under diverse conditions. I love when kids feel safe and comfortable enough to give me that first hug.
