More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to over 20 years of nanny experience, I also have extensive household management, event childcare, travel care, and overnight care experience. I’ve cared for children in private homes, hotels, weddings, corporate events, and while families traveled for work or vacations.
My experience includes caring for infants, toddlers, school-age children, and children with special needs, while also helping manage busy households, schedules, meal prep, school and activity transportation, bedtime routines, organization, and day-to-day family support. I’m comfortable balancing multiple children and responsibilities while maintaining a calm, safe, nurturing environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping children active, engaged, and learning through fun, age-appropriate activities. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include outdoor play, walks, parks, reading, arts and crafts, sensory activities, baking, music and dancing, educational games, imaginative play, library trips, toddler learning activities, and helping encourage independence and creativity.
For infants and toddlers, I enjoy developmental play, tummy time, baby sign language, reading, music, and creating nurturing routines that support growth and confidence. I believe children thrive with a balance of structure, creativity, learning, and fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, dependable environment where children feel secure, supported, and truly cared for. Trust is everything — both with the children and the parents.
I also believe a great nanny becomes an extension of the family by helping bring calm, consistency, patience, and positivity into the home. Supporting a child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth while making parents’ lives easier and less stressful is something I take great pride in.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs, including autism and developmental differences, both professionally and personally. My approach is patient, calm, nurturing, and centered around consistency, trust, and understanding each child’s unique needs and personality.
I understand the importance of structure, routines, sensory awareness, communication styles, and creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable and understood. I also have experience with overnight care, travel care, and helping families maintain stability and routines during busy schedules.
I’m dependable, attentive, and truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with both children and parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments has been watching children I’ve cared for grow from infants into confident little kids with their own personalities, interests, and routines. After spending five years with one family, seeing the youngest start preschool has been incredibly emotional and rewarding because we became so close over the years.
I love the everyday moments — teaching a baby a new skill, hearing a toddler say a new word for the first time, dance parties in the kitchen, reading books together, outdoor adventures, and becoming someone children feel safe, happy, and excited to be around. Building long-term relationships with families and being part of a child’s growth is what I love most about being a nanny.
