Supportive, trusting relationships between the nanny, the parents, and the children. When those relationships are strong and meaningful, everything else is smooth sailing.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with ASD, ADHD, emotional disturbance, mood and personality disorders, and developmental delays. I can’t claim any level of expertise in serving special needs children but I am familiar with the process of learning the unique modifications and accommodations each child needs, collaborating with the child’s support team, and taking lots of notes to help support families when seeking services.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Too many to count! Baby giggles and snuggles, watching a preschooler write her name or tie his shoes independently for the first time, all the wise and silly things children say…I love it all!
