More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience that involved caring for children that I can mention includes the position of an Infant/Toddler Teacher at For Kids’ Sake Early Learning Center. This position involved undertaking hands-on daily care of infants and toddlers. In the position, I also built trusting relationships with children.
Moreover, I previously worked as a nanny for a private family, where I planned activities and outings to keep children engaged, as well as assist them in developing independence and social skills within a home environment.
While I am currently working in an administrative position at FKS daycare center, I do have hands-on work experience with children, knowledge of child development, and a focus on providing a safe and engaging atmosphere for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I also enjoy planning fun and developmentally appropriate activities to engage children. I enjoy taking children outdoors, which could include visiting local parks, nature activities, or engaging in other seasonal activities, like the fun children experience when they build snowmen and snow fortresses during the winter months.

Indoors, some of my favorite things about being with children include participating in creative play like dress-up clothes, dolls, and stuffed animals, or art projects like painting or drawing. I believe that play is a big part of child development. It is an important activity that children can learn through, discover themselves, and develop confidence.

The most crucial aspect of being a nanny is spending time with the children and giving them the individual attention they require. The key to developing a sound relationship between the child and the nanny is the presence of the caregiver. The child will feel safe and confident when the caregiver is around.
