A little bit about me

Hello,
I work primarily with families expecting newborns until 12 months. I attended Doula School in 2019 when we were all stuck inside. It was the best thing I ever did for my life. Since then I have helped over 30 families as an overnight Doula while in the postpartum phase. When a mother gives birth, the healing process can be met with many emotions and feelings that may seem counterproductive to nurturing a baby how you want to, with lots of care and overwhelming love. That’s where I come in, I am there for the families transition and for mommy and baby to feel safe and secure and cared for during the first few months in a seem less way so everyone in the family can be more present during the days. I will prepare meals for the family, and clean up a bit around the home. In the first month of your little one’s life, I can really say from experience that all the little things around the home add up. With me you can take on motherhood with a little more rest and a little less stress.

Helping families with having a Happy Baby, I observe and find all of the cues each specific baby gives before tantrums arise and use that as a guide to solve fussy baby issues. Finding out exactly what it is that is making your baby fussy and creating solutions for baby, sometimes the solution is learning sign language so baby has a way of communicating, sometimes it looks like noticing tiny hand gestures baby is giving before throwing tantrums, whatever the case may be for each baby I make sure to fully observe and with the information create a guide for the family to help baby feel more confident and secure in communicating their needs.
